Little Peaches

Back in the saddle.
This was a value exercise. These runty little peaches are interesting and challenging to paint, lots of very subtle color and value shifts and then with all them close together, many lost edges.


  1. I'm crazy about the thick paint/brushwork here, also it is very thoughtfully applied: Lovely as always!

  2. Such lovely subtle colors and values, very nice.

  3. My favorite. Reminds me of Cezanne. Great job on these. I like the light yellow background with the peaches. The whole painting seem sunny.
