Peaches, Grapes on Patterned Cloth (6x8")

I took one more shot at it before the peaches are spoiled. The cloth is so much fun it sort of paints itself. It's just the right sort of repeat - not too close together and organic, so no worries about perspective, etc. Also, I bought myself a new brush, a Monarch (Windsor Newton) #10 bright and it makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE! I recommend it. They are on sale at ASW right now at a serious discount.

  1. I like the addition of the grapes. That fabric has a terrific pattern. It might be even stronger if you had one more item. In design things look better grouped in odd numbers. (hope I don't offend you), I'm always looking for constructive criticism. I can tell you are having fun with your still life.

  2. Hi Carrie,
You're right, there are 4 clumps! I was thinking all those separate grapes, I guess.....
