Jean, I can't remember if I've left a comment on your pansy series, I really like these a lot, especially the tightly packed stems here. So, do you think the bottle of black gesso I bought 3 years ago, and never opened, is still good? Obviously, I need to break out of my comfort zone...
Jean you are getting better and better at those pansies! This painting is beautiful! The blue in the background are a perfect choice for the purples and grays in the plum, the shadows and the flowers. Very nice!
